The Clark County Social Services Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position provides advanced technical and operational support to the Social Services Department. Qualified candidates should have general knowledge of Social Services programs, procedures and practices; be very familiar with Microsoft Office; be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; have data entry experience; and be able to provide efficient clerical support which include general reception duties.
Candidate must possess a high school diploma, or its equivalent and two years of technical college with a field of study pertinent to the position requirements (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Candidate must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Along with a competitive wage, this position qualifies for a full county benefit package including health, dental, and vision, Wisconsin Retirement System with County match, disability, paid time off and paid holidays. Starting wage for this positon is $15.77 per hour.
