The Clark County Community Foundation, Inc. (CCCF) is pleased to announce the 21 recipients of its 2021 Scholarship Program. Fifteen Clark County students have each been awarded a $300 Clark County Community Foundation Scholarship to be used for tuition or other post-secondary educational expenses this fall. Now in its seventh year, the Community Scholarship Program was created to provide additional financial resources to eligible students living in Clark County who were pursuing an education beyond high school.
The Foundation also manages several endowed scholarships. The Eric Pentz Memorial Scholarship ($500) is awarded to a Greenwood High School student in memory of Eric Pentz, a 1994 graduate of GHS. The Harry and Esther King Memorial Scholarship ($300) is awarded to a Neillsville HS student in memory of Harry and Esther King, long-time area residents and strong advocates of agriculture and education. And the Teresa Johnson Memorial Scholarship ($400) is awarded to a student from Clark County who exhibits strong leadership qualities and community service efforts.
The Foundation also facilitated the Greenwood based Kourtland House LLC scholarship opportunity that awarded a total of $8,250 to seven area High School graduates. Owner Terrie Opelt and Kourtland House continue their tradition of helping area graduates with their future educational expenses.
Congratulations to each of these scholarship recipients.

According to the CCCF Scholarship Selection Committees, “This group of scholarship applicants was especially competitive this year. The grades, school activities, employment and community service efforts displayed by all of the applicants were extremely impressive. The students, teachers, parents, and communities of these students should be very proud of their 2021 high school graduates. The CCCF Scholarship Selection Committees and the Foundation Board of Directors wish each of the scholarship applicants and recipients the very best as they further their education and embark on the next phase of their lives.
