Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from Sunday:
The state has seen a total of 1,270,458 negative cases, 89,185 positive cases (an increase of 1,582 over the previous day) and 1,210 deaths, an increase of 1 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,332, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 288 positive cases and 4,910 negative.
For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 418 positive and 12,993 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,232 positive and 20,082 negative and Jackson has seen 90 positive and 6,004 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 575 positive and 12,886 negative, Marathon has seen 889 positive and 18,951 negative and Taylor has seen 132 positive and 2,504 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
