The Greenwood City Council discussed a FEMA grant at their meeting on Wednesday.
Discussion was made with Jordan Buss regarding possible FEMA grants for the possible Library project, but no motions were made. The council also tabled the discussion on the land purchase and referred the matter over to the Facilities Committee and Planning and Zoning Committee.
Summerfest committee representatives also came to discuss the possibility of having the Greenwood Festival for 2021. The council approved to continue with the festival for 2021.
The council also approved allowing employees to purchase their retired phone at trade in value as set by the phone vendor. If an employee does not wish to trade in their phone, the city will trade in the device for a bill credit.
Finally, the council approved handbook changes as recommended by the Personnel Committee.
