Thanksgiving is upon us once again. Unlike last year, it seems most families are gathering like usual. I typically look at Thanksgiving as a time to get together, visit, enjoy foods and beverages that are outside our normal diet, and be with our families. In our area it is also what we endearingly call "Holy Week," or hunting season. So there is the excitement about what we call "The Deer Report," too!
I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you take the time to remember how amazingly blessed we are here in the United States of America, and here in this immediate area. We have opportunity, freedom, liberty, and peace here that is not the normal status everywhere in our nation, and not the normal status in the world. I have done my best to keep this as a point of reminder in my day-to-day life, because it's so easy to forget how much we have, and it's a good thing to sharpen our humility with reminders.
Thank you all for taking the time to read what I write here. If it wasn't for Travis Rogers asking me to write, I probably never would have. I hope I can continue to give you articles that are worth your time to read!
