PERKINSTOWN – The second through fifth grade classes from Owen-Withee Elementary traveled to Perkinstown Winter Sports Area on Jan. 31.

Three buses and three vans of students, teachers, and other chaperones caravanned to the tubing hill for a winter field trip. The temperatures stayed around 30 degrees, which made for a pleasant day to be outside whizzing down the well-groomed hills aboard inner tubes.

The trip was a success as no injuries occurred during this winter outing and said one Perkinstown worker, “It’s the safest tubing hillaround which hosted over 200 visitors on the previous day.”

This annual field trip was another fun-filled day for O-WEL.
