Owen-Withee Staff Recognition was held on the last day of school, May 28, 2021. Each spring the school recognizes milestones of the staff, chooses a teacher of the year from elementary and one from high school and a staff member of the year. This year because of the challenging year it was, two groups of staff members were chosen as Staff Persons of the Year - the Maintenance and Kitchen crews.

The following staff members were recognized: 5-10-15 Years of Service: Brandi Arndt – 5, Travis Engel – 10, Monica Engelbretson – 10, Ben Gruetzmacher – 10, Katie Hatlestad – 15, Lisa Korn – 15 and Julie Van Ark – 15; 20 years: Brian Lewison; Retirees: Donna Witek – 19 years, Sara Thorson – 33 years, Mary Meyer – 21; 25-30 Years: Chad Eichstadt, Susan Nelson, Jill Boie, Bruce Bednar, Susan Beck, Jona Hatlestad; Teacher of the Year: Chad Eichstadt – Jr/Sr High, Alicia Wilson – Elementary; Staff Persons of the Year – Kitchen/Cooks: Mabel Harms, Monica Engelbretson, Belinda Stratton, Nancy Tolzmann; Staff Persons of the Year – Maintenance: Dave Laabs, Chris Lulloff, Brett Weber, Phil Greschner and Joe Lambright.
