The fishing opener is right around the corner, May 2nd, 2020. If you don't have your license yet, try to do it as soon as possible to be able to abide by the social distancing rules. Go to GoWild.WI.Gov
As of now, the DNR has not made any changes to the opener. Most lakes and rivers in the northern 2/3 of Wisconsin are open but you should check County and local authorities for any changes or closures before going. Also, stay in your own area as to not spread the virus.

When enjoying the great outdoors, please take your garbage and recyclables home with you. Parks and Forests do not have garbage and/or recycling bins. The DNR reminds us, “We all play a vital role in taking care of our natural resources. Following the leave no trace principles helps protect the land for generations to come.”
The second Turkey season starts this Wednesday, April 22nd (Earth Day) through April 28th. Good luck, hunters, and everyone enjoy the great outdoors.
