On Monday, November 29, 2021, the Owen-Withee Elementary School held a fun assembly for the students. The OW-EL Students Council planned the fun-filled event for the kids and students. Silly games were played pitting teachers against each other. The crowd favorite seemed to be Mr. G. which was quite evident with the driving little voices shouting, “Mr. G.!” “Mr. G.!” The games included wrapping teachers with toilet paper, picking up fruit loops with chop sticks and picking up pretzels using a stick in their mouth.

The assembly concluded after each grade brought the food they had collected to the middle of the gym. All generosity of the grades filled the center circle of the floor with the 5th graders hauling in the most with 320 items. The food will be used to feed those in need in the community.
