It was a rainy wet day at the market, but that did not keep our regular customers and some new faces from coming to the market to shop. We are always willing to visit and try to find the veggies or other items they are looking for.
Corn was a big seller this weekend. Unfortunately, we did not have a lot of corn to sell. Green beans, peppers and squash and pumpkins also sold. Zucchini is still selling but that, along with other vegetables, is coming to an end.
The baked goods are still selling. Many of our customers come each week and grab their favorites.
The cold rainy weather only reminded us of what's just around the corner, fall and I love fall but am not looking forward to winter. The train did not run on Saturday because of the rain, so we are hoping for a nice sunny day next weekend, as we only have a few more weeks of the market.
Our fresh cut flowers have come to an end which many of you enjoyed, me as well but Ellen does have beautiful Mum's for sale, so come and check them out. Have a great week and to all of you who are canning and freezing we wish you success. Don't forget to check us out on FaceBook.
LaMont's Menu for next week: Chicken Taco's. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches.
