On Sunday, May 2, 2021 17 new members were inducted into the Owen-Withee National Honor Society Chapter. Due to COVID, we were unable to hold our inductions last year so 6 members were inducted for the 2019-2020 school year and 11 members were inducted for the 2020-2021 school year.
National Honor Society members are chosen using four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service and character. All students grades 10-12 who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher were invited to apply. The NHS faculty council then met to determine inductees based on leadership, service, and character.
Congratulations to our new members for 2019-2020: Aselyn Baehr, Katie Erickson, Esmeralda Lopez, Aidan Smith, Tyler Weaver and Rob Wendler and to our 2020-2021 members: Sierra Bakke, Grayce Bottlemy, Gabby Goessl, Chloe Faude, Sidney Halida, Ben Heggemeier, Damian Nernberger, Rylee Ollinger, Tawny Ruppert, Dakota Shelton and Connor Simington.
