OWEN-WITHEE -The O-W FBLA team competed at the Region 2 Leadership Conference at Nekoosa High School on Feb. 5. Lead by Caleb Green, seven of the 12 students who competed earned scores high enough to advance to the state competition in Madison, March 28-29.
Mason Gay,Lydia Lobacz, Cassidy Graski and Grayce Bottlemy placed first in Parliamentary Procedure.Ellie Petersen placed third in Intro to Parliamentary. Amelia Petke placed second in Future Business. The last state advancer was Connor Simington, taking third in Cyber Security.
Rob Wendler placed eighth in Personal Finance; Alyssa Graski placed tenth in Public Speaking; BenGraski placed eighth in Business Calculations and Spencer Schwab placed eighth in Cyber Security.
Gay elected Region2 VP
Owen-Withee High School Student Mason Gay was named the new FBLA Region 2 Vice President.
The Owen-Withee School District congratulated Gay on representing his school and his state,“Over the next year, Mason will travel around the state and meet countless people, from members to supporters of the FBLA,” the O-W School District stated in a release.
Mason will represent Owen-Withee and the state in his new role.
