Dear Editor -
I hope you plan to write an editorial on the recent election. When you do, please say something about the quality of the speech President-elect Biden gave on Saturday evening. It was a speech only a good man could deliver. It wasn’t mean, it wasn’t vindictive, and it wasn’t condescending. A welcome change from the fellow now occupying the White House.
To me it was a speech of healing for a fractured nation that needs a great amount of work in the future to become healed. The quality of the speech was akin to those of Kennedy, Reagan, Roosevelt and Clinton. All those men knew how to speak to people person-to-person. A good quality for a President.
