Thorp Students in WSMA Solo Ensemble

Congratulations to the Thorp students who participated in the WSMA Virtual District Solo & Ensemble Festival. Several Thorp High School Choir students recently participated in the WSMA Virtual District Solo & Ensemble Festival. Since in person festivals were not allowed this year, students' performances were recorded, and videos were submitted to be critiqued by an adjudicator.  

Eleven of these students made it to State Solo & Ensemble with their performances. The singers include Ivan Neisius, Jacob Barth, Austin Gosney, Jason Pritchard, Payton Rhyner, MaKenzie Skibbie, Wesley Bresina Eckwright, Blenard Maksuti, Chloe Egge, Emma Lara, Delaine Mathison, Makayla Denzine, Charity Pritchard, Hannah Egge, Christine Smoczyk, Grace Tieman, and Krista Weaver.

Additionally, several students qualified for State Solo & Ensemble including Payton Rhyner for Class A Vocal Solo; Christine Smoczyk for Class A Vocal Solo; Christine Smoczyk for Musical Theater Solo; and Makayla Denzine, Makenzie Skibbie, Grace Tieman, Krista Weaver, Emma Lara, Delaine Mathison, Payton Rhyner, Christine Smoczyk, Hannah Egge, Chloe Egge, and Charity Pritchard for Women's a Cappella Ensemble.
